Help protect yourself and others by washing your hands often, avoiding close contact with others, staying home when you are ill, covering coughs and sneezes, and cleaning and disinfect frequently touched surfaces as often as possible.

If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing, please separate yourself from other people, and then call your healthcare provider for medical advice. Here are some local areas hotlines.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services

Can answer health-related questions to COVID-19. The team can also direct residents, providers and more to find doctors and the right resources in their local communities and in other state government departments. The hotline will be open seven days a week from 8am to 5pm. Anyone in Michigan who doesn’t have a regular doctor, The hotline will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (888) 535-6136.

St. Joseph Mercy Health System/IHA

Patients should call your healthcare provider if you think you have developed symptoms. If you have questions or concern about finding a doctor and COVID-19, you can call (833) 247-1258.

Michigan Medicine 

Patients with questions about symptoms, home management or advice should call the Michigan Medicine COVID-19 hotline at (734) 763-6336.

With schools and so many area businesses closed, the need for assistance is greater than ever. Here are resources if you need help with things like food, bills, and finding doctors. If you would like to support area non-profits, individuals, seniors, families, and local businesses by donating money, volunteering, and donating blood, we have that info, too.
